Jim Corbet - Pastor

Jim began his ministry at Greenville Bible Church in March of 1997.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.  He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity/Missions and Evangelism degree in 1989.  Prior to starting Greenville Bible Church, he pastored churches in Vidor and Greenville, Texas.

Jim has a heart for missions.  He has worked with mission organizations doing crusades and building churches in Ukraine.  He has worked in Kenya, Mexico, and home missions in the United States.  He is very active in disaster relief ministries.  He was instrumental in getting the first Child Evangelism Fellowship Good News Club in Northeast Texas.  He has worked with other churches in the area sponsoring soldiers and their families during deployments.

Jim and his wife, Marcia, have been married since 1983.  They have three adult daughters.  They are blessed to be the grandparents of 5 wonderful grandchildren.

Glenn Nicholson - Music Minister

You might say I have come full circle having been born in Greenville many years ago but never calling Greenville home until my family and I moved here in 2013.  My wife, Teresa, and I have two daughters and 4 granddaughters. To say I feel outnumbered would be an understatement as I have spent my fair share of time in shopping malls, recitals, and tea parties.

Thank you for visiting our website! Greenville Bible Church is a doctrinally sound, Bible-based church with an emphasis on Christ’s love for people. Likewise, as Music Minister, it’s my desire for our worship services to be uplifting and meaningful while encouraging people to connect with God. We enjoy the timeless treasures of the hymns as well as providing weekly opportunities for our people to be involved in our Special Music program. We invite you to come worship with us and to get involved!
